Do you just selectively want to remember things?  Please go back and read AOC's posts......

#clueless

A statement by a student announcer on a college radio station is not an official confirmation, porky. The athletic department has only confirmed the 2016 suspension. I have already responded to Coach's post. You, on the other hand, continue to show a complete inability to read for comprehension.

What is your problem with this kid, anyway?

Ace, 2 have been confirmed.

When did the second suspension occur, and who confirmed it? We're not likely to take your word for it.
3  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: All Patriot League Teams and Major Awards Announced....kind of a bummer on: November 21, 2017, 12:30:02 pm
The season was a bummer. "Nuff said.  Sad
4  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 21, 2017, 12:28:30 pm
I did not listen to this year's Georgetown game on WFUV, but I wonder if the announcers might have been referring to LAST YEAR'S Georgetown game, where Kevin WAS suspended for one game for "violation of team rules." That suspension was announced on the official Athletic Department website. There has been NO announcement of any suspension this year on the website.
5  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: All Patriot League Teams and Major Awards Announced....kind of a bummer on: November 21, 2017, 11:56:28 am
What were you expecting, RamAlum? This was certainly not a good year for us, and usual first team honoree Chase Edmonds missed several games due to injury. We did have eight all league selections, and given our 4-7 record, I think that's a pretty good showing.
6  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Field Turf on: November 21, 2017, 11:11:48 am
I received my response from Dave Roach this morning. It is true, as RamFan4 posted, that the turf was replaced in the summer of 2014, and is not scheduled to be replaced for "a few more years."
7  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 21, 2017, 11:08:54 am
Whether or not he was suspended for the Georgetown game, I strongly believe that it ought to be out of bounds for any poster on these boards to call a player a "virus." It is one thing to question a player's performance, quite another to defame his character, especially when you are not privy to the details of the supposed infractions.

I doubt very much if Ram-Spouse has the courage of his conviction to seek out Kevin and call him a virus to his face. He's just another internet bully.
8  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 21, 2017, 02:40:36 am
FACT - Anderson suspended last year

FACT - Anderson suspended this year according to WFUV

FACT - What happened last week?  SUSPENSION HAS NOT BEEN DISPUTED

Since when is a student sports announcer an official of the athletic department? I have not seen any official announcement of this supposed suspension. And your supposed third suspension has most definitely been disputed by the athletic department, as I posted earlier.

Again you post your opinions as "facts."

The only virus in this thread is a poster with a hyphenated handle. Most folks here know what you're all about. So take your rose colored glasses and shove 'em where the sun don't shine, porky.

10  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Field Turf on: November 20, 2017, 12:48:02 pm
I think that's a fine idea, T17. You ought to send your thoughts in a message to Dave Roach via Ask The A.D. Coffey Field may be the Titanic in some posters' eyes, but it's the Titanic we have now and are likely to have for the foreseeable future, so let's arrange the deck chairs as best we can!  Wink
11  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Field Turf on: November 20, 2017, 12:03:24 pm
I just sent an "Ask the A.D." message to Dave Roach asking that very question. I will post his reply when I receive it. The slipping and tripping that you mentioned was likely caused by the wet conditions, especially later in the second half.
12  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Next Year's Football Schedule on: November 20, 2017, 11:50:32 am
Good chance we open up the season 0-3 unless we come back a totally different team.

With 21 seniors graduating this spring, we will definitely be a different team next season!  Wink
13  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: PL Pick'em for 2017 All Hail Jimbo 65 !!! See you in Charlotte on: November 20, 2017, 11:42:10 am
Thank you FtF4. I can't wait for September 1. I might even drive down to Charlotte and look up B2Bomber!  Cheesy
14  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 04:58:02 pm
Who called him a virus?

Ram-Spouse. He seems to have no problem trying to destroy the reputation of a 23 year old kid who gave us his best effort in every game he played. Furthermore, he is doing this based on the skimpiest of information from unnamed sources with no specifics as to the alleged offenses.

FIRE, READY, AIM      Indeed!
15  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 04:02:36 pm
Yet you describe him as a "virus" and "trouble." To me, that says more about YOU than it does about him.
16  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 01:18:43 pm
Last year....Yes, it was announced.  This year it was stated on the radio, and also spoken about internally.

Injuries being "announced" are now being used more and more to disguise a discipline problem.

Spoken about "internally?" That's pretty vague. If you in fact have access to sources on the team, why don't you ask Chase Edmonds, Kevin's roommate, about this recent supposed "suspension?"
17  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Next Year's Football Schedule on: November 19, 2017, 12:46:02 pm
I am very pleased to see that we are opening the schedule with games at UNC Charlotte and Richmond. Those games will be a real test. No cupcakes there. Stony Brook has been added to the schedule and may well become our new "local" rivalry. Central Connecticut seems to be a permanent fixture now, and the game with them next season is our homecoming game. Finally, note that we have no Ivy League opponent next year, but happily Yale returns on the 2019 schedule.

2018 Schedule:

Sept. 1        at UNC Charlotte
Sept. 8        at University of Richmond
Sept. 15      STONY BROOK UNIVERSITY
Sept. 22      CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE (HC)
Sept. 29      Open
Oct. 6         GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY*
Oct. 13        at Lehigh University*
Oct. 20        BRYANT UNIVERSITY
Oct. 27        LAFAYETTE COLLEGE* (FW)
Nov. 3         COLGATE UNIVERSITY*
Nov. 10        at Holy Cross*
Nov. 17        at Bucknell University*
18  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 11:56:59 am
This uninformed chatter about Kevin Anderson being a "virus" and "trouble" is absurd and unfair. The Fordham sports site states that he missed yesterday's game because of an injury. He has been banged up this entire season, playing behind an offensive line that has offered him little protection. I saw him on the sidelines yesterday leading the cheers for his teammates as the defense stepped up and stopped Bucknell three times in the zone. I know for a fact that he is very popular with his teammates and has always given us 110 percent on the field throughout his career here. He stayed with us as a graduate student this year and I believe that we will definitely miss him next season. In my opinion, he was every bit as much a warrior as was Mike Nebrich.

19  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 15, 2017, 02:42:15 pm
DamnRam, you will now be insulted by Ram-Louse, as many of us have been, using one of his pet phrases. Count on it. Will it be:

1) Seeing things through rose colored glasses
2) Being part of the Fordham drag
3) Believing that all is well
4) Having an inability to think outside the box
5) Enjoying incompetency

Perhaps he will use a combination of two or more, or maybe even all five. Sit back and wait for it. He can't help himself. And then will come the big finish: Ready..fire..aim!
20  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 15, 2017, 09:16:39 am
It is truly amazing that you are content with this Butt-Fumble style operation that you call a tailgate.  The people on these threads have overwhelmingly stated their disgust with this incompetency which some people call a tailgate.

Your inability to read for comprehension is truly amazing. Either that or you intentionally misstate what others have posted in order to suit your idiotic positions. Neither of the two sentences in your post are true. Many people on these boards, myself included, have expressed dissatisfaction with the current setup of the homecoming tent and the university's decision to not allow tailgating on homecoming weekend. Very few have expressed dissatisfaction with tailgating when it is allowed at other home games. You and truth are complete strangers, again and again, and again.

21  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 15, 2017, 01:58:52 am
Enjoy your warm beer and Fire Marshall illegal tent next year.

If you promise not to be there, we'll all have a much better time. Go attend a homecoming at one of the Power 5 schools that you think we should emulate. Maybe they'll let you tailgate on their quad. Hopefully they'll arrest you for trespassing when you do.
22  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 15, 2017, 01:55:04 am
You've just proved my point..again, and again, and again.
23  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 14, 2017, 11:22:28 pm
DamnRam, why do you waste your time with this guy? He has demonstrated over and over again that with him, it's "my way or the highway." He is not interested in what you or I or anyone with an opinion contrary to his has to say. In his eyes, we're all wearing "rose colored glasses," we're part of the "Fordham drag," we think "all is well," and we're incapable of thinking "outside the box." He makes the same insulting comments in almost every post. You can't have a discussion with him, his mind (such as it is) is closed and locked shut. On this subject at least, he's almost as much a troll as HKRam or fred.

24  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: PL Pick'em for the last bloody time God I can't wait for this season to end! on: November 14, 2017, 12:31:17 pm
I'm not making a second pick like last week, just an observation that was triggered by Free the F 4's thread title.

I find it a little sad when the football season ends, whether it ends in November after a bad or a so-so season, or in December after a run in the playoffs. It means no more attending Ram sports outdoors in the daytime until spring, and that seems a long way away right now. Of course we have basketball, with a coach and a team that seems to be on the upswing, but the games are played indoors, and often at night. It's just not the same experience for me. I love the Rose Hill campus where I spent so many happy years so long ago, and after every home football game I like to walk around the campus and just take in the atmosphere of the place. I would wander inside the library, the church, Thebaud Hall (my old pharmacy building) and other buildings that were open. I can't do that after a basketball game.

So I'll be in the Historic Rose Hill Gymnasium cheering for our Rams as they play on the McLaughlin Family Court (gasp), while I eagerly await spring and Ram baseball at Houlihan Park.

Go Rams!

Fordham (Breiner keeps his job and HKRam and fred disappear for good)
Lafayette (On a wing and a prayer)
Colgate (Hope they get the championship and the autobid)
26  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: PL Pick'em for "Ennui" K 11 and Standings as of Week 10 on: November 13, 2017, 03:50:07 pm
Your benevolent overlord will accept your lastest pick as it was a perfecto.....your welcome!

On behalf of all elderly posters who occasionally experience.....what was it again that we sometimes experience? I forget. Thank you.  Cheesy
27  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 03:31:10 pm
I disagree.  and how is tailgating on Edwards Parade malicious or nonsensical?  You make it out like Eddie's is Hallowed Ground or some type of Civil war soldier burial ground.  Swing and a miss by you again.....Your batting average is embarrassing.

I'll take my batting average over yours any day of the week, And for your information, "Eddie" is a first name. "Edwards" is a surname, as in Major General Clarence Ransom Edwards, commanding the 26th Yankee Division in the First World War, and professor of Military Science and Tactics at Rose Hill. For many, especially ROTC alumni, it is hallowed ground. You might try learning a little history and showing a little respect, Ram-Louse.

28  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 13, 2017, 03:10:05 pm
Coach, it happens everywhere.  Do you want examples?  Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas, Notre Dame, Florida, Alabama, Auburn....just to name a few.  Even West Point does it on Trophy Point, their most sacred ground.

So what? Even if what you write is true (and you are known to be very loose with the truth, Ram-Louse), those are all BCS schools with large campuses. We are not that. We are an FCS school with a fairly small campus of only 85 acres and only two large lawn areas. I believe that the university should restore tailgating on lot A during homecoming weekend, but tailgating on Edwards Parade? That's a nonstarter, in my opinion. The university can, and should, make changes in the way tents are set up on Edwards to minimize lines for food and drinks during homecoming, and several posters have made sensible suggestions as to how that might be accomplished. I would like to see those changes implemented next year.
29  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 02:30:40 pm
89% of Ram Fans want AB gone on this thread alone.....

Which means absolutely nothing. Dave Roach has said that he does not read these forums. And with clowns like you and HKRam spewing malicious or nonsensical ideas (tailgating on Edwards Parade  Roll Eyes ) he is wise not to. Coach Breiner will most likely be given another year, but if he is let go, it certainly won't be because many posters on these boards want it.

Scanning through this thread, just now I realized I posted twice, on two different days, and with different picks! Good grief.  Shocked
