1  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: Yesterday at 10:47:31 pm
You said back in October that KA played every snap in Lafayette game. I pointed out to you that he was injured and Medlock replaced him for two snaps late in the game. KA returned taped and was clearly limping. Then you changed your statement and said he missed one snap in the Lafayette game, both posts in the same thread. I'm sorry that you posted misinformation. KA didn't play the next game Medlock started.

FACT - Anderson suspended last year

FACT - Anderson suspended this year according to WFUV

FACT - What happened last week?  SUSPENSION HAS NOT BEEN DISPUTED
2  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: Yesterday at 04:58:42 pm
The only virus in this thread is a poster with a hyphenated handle. Most folks here know what you're all about. So take your rose colored glasses and shove 'em where the sun don't shine, porky.

FIRE, READY, AIM!

I am so sorry that you can't handle the truth.  I love how you won't acknowledge 3 suspensions for one player.  SAD!
3  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: Yesterday at 04:04:14 pm
Ram-Spouse. He seems to have no problem trying to destroy the reputation of a 23 year old kid who gave us his best effort in every game he played. Furthermore, he is doing this based on the skimpiest of information from unnamed sources with no specifics as to the alleged offenses.

FIRE, READY, AIM      Indeed!

Hey Spanky......someone who gets suspended 3 times over the course of a season and a half is a virus.  Not sure what world you are living in......Well, actually I do know what world you live in.....A Rose Colored Glasses World.

These suspensions were announced.  What further information do you require? A letter from the Truancy Officer?
4  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 02:57:42 pm
What was he suspended for? Specifically.

No further information given.
5  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 02:29:23 pm
There are no NCAA rules that require a team announce reasons as to why a player is not playing.  In the NFL that is different.  Eli Apple is a "healthy scratch" today for the Giants.  Jackrabbitt Jenkins was publicly suspended one game this year and a "healthy scratch" earlier in the year
There is no reason for you guys to put your head in the sand.  Anderson was suspended last year and this year.  Nothing else to discuss.

6  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 19, 2017, 12:28:25 pm
In fairness to KA, did they ever actually announce that he had been suspended?  Most schools do that.  How many times do you see quick blurb, this player has bee n suspended for one game for an unspecified violation of team rules. Just put it out there and quell speculation.  Like everyone else does.

Last year....Yes, it was announced.  This year it was stated on the radio, and also spoken about internally.

Injuries being "announced" are now being used more and more to disguise a discipline problem.
7  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: I truly Believe Chase Edmonds Plays on Sundays on: November 18, 2017, 10:59:03 pm
Plenty of RBs in the league right now that don't have the breakaway speed.

He's not my scout. He is part of the Broncos organization and I made it very clear that it was a pre-season grade. I'd stand it up against your Odom/DE claims though  Cry

So your guy is a Coach?  My guys with regard to Odom are NFL coaches.  PM me and I will give you their names.
8  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: I truly Believe Chase Edmonds Plays on Sundays on: November 18, 2017, 10:24:14 pm
He plays in a system ideally suited to his talents. I just donít see the 5th gear of explosiveness needed at that level.

Chase is a Hall of Fame FCS player but doesn't have the 5th gear for the NFL
9  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 18, 2017, 10:20:29 pm
Actually the suspensions are not a knock on AB it shows he's not afraid to discipline his players , even the starting QB! The starting qb is your leader, this kid has been trouble since the day he stepped on campus and oh yea who knows what he did at his last school .. transfers are transfers for a reason

WRONG!

Anderson was a virus last year and AB dealt with it.  The coaching error is that he allowed it to spill into this season.  If he was "man" enough last year to suspend him when the train was rolling then he should have been "man" enough this year to say one more eff up and you are gone.  This virus spilled into this year.  That is on AB
10  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 18, 2017, 07:04:31 pm
got it on the suspensions -

as for the QB debate, statistically, better than Eakin.  The only thing missing was the PL Championship, which pushes him behind those three, or tied for that third slot.

It is interesting, the Eakin Team and Anderson Team(s), fully stacked with upperclassmen, could not repeat as champions.  very frustrating fordham football history.

the suspensions are a major knock against AB also.  You can't have the leader of your team being disruptive
11  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: I truly Believe Chase Edmonds Plays on Sundays on: November 18, 2017, 07:02:17 pm
Rolling an ankle can happen on any level. Your point about his injury and the patriot league is moot.

I have it on good authority that he was grading out as a 2/3 rd pick this preseason. That's obviously going to change after this year but a good pro day can help his chances. 10 weeks ago I would've said he'd definitely be drafted. I'm not so sure now BUT I do think he'll definitely be on a roster post draft. It'll be up to him at that time to earn his roster spot. There are some truly atrocious rbs on NFL rosters right now. Teams like to roster 3-5 RBs so there's opportunity out there. If he can return punts that'll be a big plus too.

Is you "Scout" still employed that graded Chase at a 2nd or 3rd round draft choice.  Chase was non existent against West Point and he was healthy then and they are not a very good defensive team.
12  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 18, 2017, 03:49:28 pm
I can name a lot of football and basketball players over the years who came to believe that they were doing Fordham a favor by continuing to be here.  Anderson is half the player Nebrich was.

I agree.  Beyond terrible.
13  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Bucknell @ Fordham on: November 18, 2017, 01:09:39 pm
Anderson not playing again.  Can't wait for that sideshow to end after today.
14  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 18, 2017, 09:37:46 am
Hey Ram-Spouse, do you behave this way in real life? Or are you using the board as an outlet for your unaddressed issues?

I always fight back.
15  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 16, 2017, 07:29:34 am
DamnRam, you will now be insulted by Ram-Louse, as many of us have been, using one of his pet phrases. Count on it. Will it be:

1) Seeing things through rose colored glasses
2) Being part of the Fordham drag
3) Believing that all is well
4) Having an inability to think outside the box
5) Enjoying incompetency

Perhaps he will use a combination of two or more, or maybe even all five. Sit back and wait for it. He can't help himself. And then will come the big finish: Ready..fire..aim!

Very funny Schmuck.  Did you play the trumpet or the clarinet in the Marching Band?  The only chinstrap you ever fastened was the one on your marching band  helmet
16  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 15, 2017, 10:09:37 am
How did Breiners hot seat morph into the tailgate?

This is a pseudo-facilities rant.  Dont all threads morph intona facilities rant?
17  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 15, 2017, 07:18:55 am
You've just proved my point..again, and again, and again.

I don't need to repeat myself with "All is Well" clowns like you.  I stated my case many times and the overwhelming majority of the people agree with me.  It is sad that you enjoy incompetency.
18  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 15, 2017, 07:11:27 am
If you promise not to be there, we'll all have a much better time. Go attend a homecoming at one of the Power 5 schools that you think we should emulate. Maybe they'll let you tailgate on their quad. Hopefully they'll arrest you for trespassing when you do.

It is truly amazing that you are content with this Butt-Fumble style operation that you call a tailgate.  The people on these threads have overwhelmingly stated their disgust with this incompetency which some people call a tailgate.
19  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 14, 2017, 11:39:00 pm
Tailgating without a vehicle?  That's called a "picnic".

Enjoy your warm beer and Fire Marshall illegal tent next year.
20  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 14, 2017, 11:37:49 pm
DamnRam, why do you waste your time with this guy? He has demonstrated over and over again that with him, it's "my way or the highway." He is not interested in what you or I or anyone with an opinion contrary to his has to say. In his eyes, we're all wearing "rose colored glasses," we're part of the "Fordham drag," we think "all is well," and we're incapable of thinking "outside the box." He makes the same insulting comments in almost every post. You can't have a discussion with him, his mind (such as it is) is closed and locked shut. On this subject at least, he's almost as much a troll as HKRam or fred.

So sad that you have such a small-minded thought process or lack there of one.

FIRE
.....ready, aim by you FuCop.....again and again, and again.
21  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 14, 2017, 07:52:43 pm

+1. Too much canít, canít, canít going on around here.

Except for parking on eddies, that will never happen, but I do think it could work for space where people can set up their personal party space.

Ace, at this point I would even compromise and say....

Ok, no vehicles on Eddie's as long as private tailgating is allowed to take place on Eddie's.  Also, the "fun Police" is only allow to tell people to stop tailgating 1 hour after the final Whistle sounds.  They are not allowed to tell people they can't tailgate during the game.
22  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 14, 2017, 07:47:23 pm
Young paduan learner, you have no hope of ever making Jedi this way.  I fear that The Force may not be that strong in you.

In order to negotiate successfully with the Administration you must first understand the reasons behind their position.  I know that this requires a level of organizational sophistication that you have so far shown no interest in or demonstrated ability, but try hard as it is in your interest to do so.  What you've done so far (repeating your position over and over, and belittling everything else, constantly demonstrating your inability to think things through from your negotiating opponents' perspective) hasn't worked for you in all the many years you've been apparently pushing your idea.

Try again.

Great....another Frank & Co. non-response......

We don't need to change anything, just because!!!

Don't worry, I have done plenty of negotiating.  This is the reason that nothing ever happens here.
23  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 14, 2017, 03:54:58 pm
Lot A will eventually be converted to classroom space. During Homecoming there were parties at Gabelli, and other locations. I assume the roof of the Garage will be used for practice fields at some point. You could tent-tailgate up there, but since it is a garage, open fires are forbidden. Only one set of elevators go up there.

The HC tent is not going away, I recommend additional tents around the campus for more intimate groups, and the ability for sit down dining or speeches by PotU or various deans.

Only concern about people setting up their own pop-up tents is a squall could come through and pick up a tent and hurt people.

Thank you.....

This is the typical "swing and a miss" information and drone thinking that goes on at Fordham.  With thinking like this our "Butt Fumble" Homecoming activities will continue from now until our Homecoming crowds dwindle to zero.
24  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 14, 2017, 11:22:06 am
Actually one of the biggest of the bigs kind of does that.  Alabama has a postage size parking lot for a 100,000 seat arena.  Tuscaloosa is an open campus with unfettered drive through ability.  People are encouraged to park on lawns &  open space however the main Quad is reserved for homecoming type tents vendors etc.  Had a friend who had season tickets.  If you weren't tailgating and wanted to leave right after the game, your option was to park over a mile away and hoof it to and from the stadium.

Bama is one of many venues that have this style set up like ours.  We are missing an enormous opportunity.  The only people that should be allowed to park "on campus" during Football Saturdays at Rose Hill should be folks with Reserved/VIP tailgating spots.  If you want to come to the game and not have a spot or tailgating option then you take a bus in from a "remote" parking overflow option.
25  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 13, 2017, 09:42:13 pm
I love how even though I preface that Father McShane would never allow this, so you know, me acknowledging that this would never happen, I still get jumped on making a suggestion. Iím surprised why people would rather tailgate on a parking lot than somewhere on campus. And yes Iím being dead serious.

You have to remember that we have almost 50 years of negative "Institutional" drag going against this idea...."because it could never happen", "Eddie's is sacred ground"  "a Military tactician named Edwards used the area before World War I", "We aren't a Power 5 Conference"......

Remember, we had Frank and Co. running the show...."All is Well".....Julio can drive the temporary bleachers around for the "big games"

All of this is just small minded thinking.  SAD.

All of this boring, 19th Century thinking is because no one is allowed to imagine outside the the traditional Jesuit channels that they grew up with.  It just makes no sense.

Eddie's would be the perfect spot.  The idiotic Tent that goes up during Homecoming is a total joke.

People, start thinking outside the box.
26  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 04:01:15 pm
I've heard a rumor that some ashes have been spread over Eddies. I've also heard the legend of BURIED JESUIT TREASURE in the tunnels under Eddies.

I have had ashes from my cigar fall onto Eddie's through the years.....
27  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 03:41:19 pm
I'll take my batting average over yours any day of the week, And for your information, "Eddie" is a first name. "Edwards" is a surname, as in Major General Clarence Ransom Edwards, commanding the 26th Yankee Division in the First World War, and professor of Military Science and Tactics at Rose Hill. For many, especially ROTC alumni, it is hallowed ground. You might try learning a little history and showing a little respect, Ram-Louse.

https://www.goarmy.com/rotc/schools/fordham-university/history.html

I know, you Dim-wit.  He is a West Point Grad and he is not buried there.  I know all the history McFly.  You are so stupid.
28  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 03:17:48 pm
Fordham doesn't fire coaches after 1 bad season. I'd be shocked. In fact, Fordham has been know to give contract extensions after really bad showings.

I can't disagree with you.  Sad, but true.  I am holding out hope.
29  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Football Game Day Experience on: November 13, 2017, 03:17:12 pm
Spot on.  Arguing to Fordham administrators that we should do something because BCS schools do it is an example of a non-winning strategy, to put it diplomatically.

The revenue being generated would solve a lot of problems.  The fact that the "fun police" make you stop tailgating during the game is comical.
30  The Fordham Forums / Fordham Football / Re: Should Coach Breiner be on the "Hot Seat" on: November 13, 2017, 03:14:25 pm
Actually, he's dead-on regarding Edward's Parade.  The fact that you have been proposing this idea to lots of people over the years should have already tipped you off to this fact.  You're the one who's way off, especially with your extremist rhetoric, again.  Shows you just aren't thinking this through.

The road is right there.  You make it out like there are going to be thousands of cars there.  I am saying 25-50 spaces and you have to "pay" to play.....All proceeds go to the football team.  Same with the reserved spots in Lot A that go for peanuts right now.
