The ICSA consists of seven geographic conferences with a total of 219 College/University Sailing Teams, of which 186 are club programs and 33 are varsity sports. They compete in three primary disciplines: Coed Dinghy, Women's Dinghy and Team Racing, each of which leads to a national championship. All schools compete in Coed Dinghy racing. Fewer field teams in the other two disciplines.

Coed & Women's Top 20 National rankings are determined by polls of all coaches conducted by SAILING WORLD Magazine. All varsity teams have coaches. That is not the case for club programs. Fordham has a coach.

The results of the 2016-2017 polls were just published and are as follows:

Yes, RB, the rankings will be included in SAILING WORLD'S next monthly print issue, which from a recruitment standpoint is excellent for all mentioned teams.

Strong publicity with over 40,000 affluent subscribers, and I'm sure many more with pass-along.

From their Media Kit:

Sailing World is the Authority on Performance Racing.

Sailing World, with a circulation of more than 40,000, is edited for experienced sailors who participate in all levels of racing and performance sailing. It attracts high-energy, active, affluent consumers who are the first to try new technology as it emerges. Sailing World is the official media partner of US SAILING.

Sailing World is the clear choice for sailors who enjoy competition. For these readers, what matters are the technology and techniques required for speed under sail, as well as the social interaction among competitors on shore. Our mission is to deliver the information and expertise sailors need to excel, and to entertain them along the way.
