I am not quite sure you understand the meaning of the term best look it up like I suggested or you will continue to embarrass yourself.  As for BU, they did a great job on their student center, any Fordham grad would be happy to get behind a project like that, it has nothing to do with conference affiliation.

Embarrass myself?  Do you really want to go there, big boy?

You said Monmouth's facilities were just fine.  make up you mind.

I love the picture -- half of the seats in the suite are empty and one person is reading a newspaper and not watching the game.  Classic.

The woman appears to be sipping a drink.  Where did she get that?!

on the home page, Frank is standing on the court, but the bleachers are basically empty.

Not the best visual..

Frank's busy fundraising.  They could only snare him for a quick picture a half hour before the game started.

I'm still not getting the hospitality suite 25 feet off the ground...

Artists rendition only includes Asian students. Is McShane bypassing France and pitching this load of garbage in Beijing?

Unbelievable

Despite all of the negative comments here and the outrage of the fan base (we might be a fan website but we are the only Fordham fan website) over naming the RHG court in honor of a terrible AD, the administration has decided to publicize this effort and to actually label it as "McLaughlin Family Court to Herald Future of Fordham Athletics"

This is not heralding the future, this is honoring failure

I have no doubt Frank is a nice guy but this is just wrong

It's only an artist's rendition, it's not real. But I think the artist really caught the mood of fans in the Rose Hill gym perfectly-he shows only a handful of people in the new hospitality suite, and only two of them are paying any attention to the game. Perfect!

Any alum who contributes to this farce would make much better use of his or her money by simply setting it on fire and using it to light up a doobie.

as a comparison, Davidson named a section in its arena after Steph Curry.  A seating section, not the entire court or arena.  The student section will be known as "Section 30" after Curry's number.

This for an alum who took Davidson to the Final Four and is now one of the elite players in the NBA.

There's the right way and the Fordham way.

It's only an artist's rendition, it's not real.

Well, I hope this serves to stop any "new arena" talk and hype.

This is it folks: the future of Fordham athletics.

I'm still not getting the hospitality suite 25 feet off the ground...

I'd use it this way....
-roundtrip reporters, in UberBLACK, to our games..free of course
-serve them premium spirits
-deliver a free "best of Arthur Ave" menu to these poor writers
-teach our hostesses to keep their glasses filled

Watch the coverage improve in quantity and quality

I like how they sanitize things:

"Fordham University’s legendary Rose Hill Gymnasium—the oldest NCAA Division I basketball arena still in use— has been labeled many things, from a well-regarded rarity in the Atlantic 10, to one of basketball’s crown jewels."

Is "well-regarded rarity" a euphemism to an old relic that should be retired or for that matter a dump (to some)?

Hopefully the football project is faring better.

You can't make stupid like this up.  Only Fordham hope they fall short on the cash.  They deserve to be embarrassed.

It could be one of our urbane undergrads reading an art magazine, with a Broadway Playbill hidden inside.

50% of $2.5M still needs to be raised, which begs the question, what athletic fundraising is actually happening.

Appreciate loyal alums like RB devoting some time and effort to help secure funding (which he really shouldn't have to do), but if a university of Fordham's size can raise $500M on the one hand, they are having trouble raising $2.5M for something like this?

Because it is a joke.  Franks name is also toxic.
