#5 Rams vs #12 Davidson.  We lost to them 52-51 2 weeks ago in NC after beating them at home in Jan 85-72.

Goulding is once again starting instead of Burns, along with Davis, Holden, Kreslina, and Missry.

Rams are down 18-15 after 1 quarter.  Davis has 9 but we're shooting only 33% vs Davidson's 60%.  Not our best defensive effort.

Rams down 31-29 at the half.  Davis has 12 points and 8 boards.  We're only shooting 32% to Davidson's 54%.  They are 1-11 this year in away games, but have brought their best to this one, plus our defense has not been its normal.

We're up 46-37 after 3 qtrs.  We started hitting 3s and playing better defense.  We only have 3 TOs.  Davis has 15 points and 12 boards, but 3 fouls.  Kreslina has 11 points.  Missry is now 3rd all time in the A10 with 3s.

Davidson was down by 9 in the last game at this point, which they eventually won.

Rams win 62-54.

Davis had 17 points and 16 goards, despite sitting out part of the 4th with 4 fouls.  Kreslina had 11 points, as did Burns.  We only shot 31% but had 14 second chance points.  We had 9 TOs, most coming in the 4th qtr.

We're 21-10 and next play the winner of UMass and St. Louis in Richmond next weekend.

Not our best, but we won and it's "On to Richmond."  Clutch free throws at the end.

Looks like we'll be playing SLU. They're murdering UMass right now in the 3rd.

Was at game. I think we came out flat after a very tough game at LaSalle. Very disappointing crowd. Next game is on Friday at 2 pm and it will be televised.

Just got back from the game. It was a very satisfying win after a very shaky start. We couldn't hit threes in the first half. Hannah missed three in a row during our first possession of the game, but hit a crucial three when we needed it during the second half. Davis kept us in the game during the first two quarters while #44 & #7 (Sorry, I didn't get their names) were killing us. The two of them scored 19 of Davidson's first 26 points.

Fordham broke the game open immediately after half-time and we pretty much maintained a 6 - 10 point lead during the 3rd & 4th quarters. That's when our defense shined and particularly during the third quarter. Davidson continued to play tough, however, and we weren't able to extend our lead beyond app. 10 points during the half.

Hopefully, our gals will win a few games, if not the whole enchilada.

No, she left several weeks ago.

SLU hammers UMass by 40 so it's SLU at 2:00! I'm taking off work Friday afternoon. Not gonna miss this one on TV win or lose, after following them all season.

I thought we showed some good grit today. We were down the whole first half pretty much, but came out blazing after the break. Way to close it out for the seniors on our home floor.

GO RAMS this Friday!

Thanks for the reports, guys, and congrats to Coach Gaitley, her staff and our players.

Good luck next Friday vs. SLU!

That could be Hannah Missry's ("Miss 3") last home game unless we host a WNIT game.  I'm sure I represent all of the home fans in saying thanks, Hannah.

Here's the SID's recap of the game:  http://fordhamsports.com/news/2017/2/26/womens-basketball-opens-a-10-championship-with-win-over-davidson.aspx

Next game is Friday at 2 pm vs St. Louis, whom we lost to badly in Jan 82-58 in one of worst defensive games all year.

Great game today, and as expected a thin crowd.  The Rams defensive effort at the beginning of the 3rd turned it around.  Our 3 seniors are leaving quite a legacy and will be missed- but not yet.

Today's SID fail- Despite having the school's photographer at the game,  why does the photo with the release show the Rams playing St. Joes?

Probably not enough time to develop the film.

I didn't see any spelling or grammatical errors though for a change.
