Quarterfinal game vs St. Louis in Richmond is on Friday at 2pm.

Here's the SID's story and link to follow coverage:  http://www.fordhamsports.com/news/2017/3/2/womens-basketball-face-saint-louis-in-a-10-quarterfinals-friday.aspx?path=wbball

Hopefully we'll perform better than we did in our 82-58 loss to them in January.

Here's Coach Steph's key to the game:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0AoA4v2UUQ&feature=youtu.be

Rams down 31-28 at the half.  Davis has 7 and Kreslina and Holden have 6.  Goulding has 5.   Stepanavich, SLU's center, has 16.

We're up 15-12 on rebounds and are shooting 48% to their 42%.  We have 5 TO's, which isn't a lot, but they only have 1.

Good given Stipanovich scoring inside, but we're giving up too many fast break layups.

Missry is 0-4 from 3 and has been pulled.

Goulding is playing great.  13 points and 9 boards.

Down 48-41 after 3 as a couple of TOs cost us late.  Davis with 13 boards.  SLU is shooting 44% from 3 to our 29%.

Our lack of height hurts us defensively down low.

Stipanovich is a point away from becoming SLU's all time leading scorer.

We lost 68-58.

Goulding had 17 and Davis and Holden had 13.  Davis had 15 boards and Goulding had 11, which may have been here best game.  It was her first double double.  It was Davis' 22nd.

We couldn't stop Stipanovich, who had 27 and became SLU's leading all time scorer.  Kemph, their point guard, had 18.

SLU shot 48% to our 44% and 42% from 3 to our 31%.  We shot 92% from the line, leading the A10 this year in that category.  SLU only had 4 TOs.

This was not a good matchup for us.  We finished 21-11.

SLU will face #1 Dayton next.

Rams down by 11 with :27 left. They are still playing hard, but we are just outmanned. Next years recruiting class/transfers has some bigs who should help immediately .

Agree, we don't seem to match up well against SLU - even with the two double-doubles.  Only got to watch the second half and didn't see much of Missry.  Hope they get an NIT bid, so Hannah doesn't end her careeer this way.

The shots just were not dropping but I give credit to St. Louis who made us rush some. Hopefully an NIT game at Rose Hill. We have a solid foundation for next year.

We outrebounded them. But Stipanovich is a special player. She shot 11/20. I saw lots of short to medium jumpers. Nice touch.

Wasn't able to watch or listen due to being on the road, but thanks for the recaps. I honestly think this is a special team that could click at any time (and has this season, actually). Give us an WNIT bid and watch us make a run!

Fuel injected Kemph couldn't be stopped- 8 assists. Very quick tough to defend her. She was the reason for most of the 22pts. in the paint. Beat Dayton Evil
