Game time is 2 pm at Bahoshy Field.  Stony Brook is one of the absolute weakest Div 1 teams, with a RPI of #292 out of 296 teams.  They are 3-15 this year, beating Holy Cross twice and Manhattan once.  This could very well be a run rule game, even with liberal substitutions.

The rescheduled Seton Hall game will follow the Stony Brook game.

Aughinbaugh is in the circle for the Rams.  Bridget hopes to use all 4 pitchers today.  Quense is at 1b and Shaw is DH for Vergona.  The infield is a little soft from the rain.

In the 1st, SB got to 2b on an error by Figueroa in LF but Aughinbaugh got out of it with a sac bunt and 2 GBs.
In our half, Rahrich (4/56 ERA) is pitching for SB.  Hughes popped up.  Canessa, batting 2nd in this one, switching with Van Hoven, walked.  Van Hoven hit into a force then stole 2b (18/18).  Shaw popped up. 0-0 after 1.

In the 2nd, Aughinbaugh retired the side in order getting 1 K.
In the bottom half, Mayer got a pop single, lost in the sun.  Quense popped up.  WP moved Mayer to 2b.  Aughinbaugh singled and stole 2b.  Skrepenakv blooped a single scoring Mayer.  Figueroa got an infield single scoring Auginbaugh.  Hughes hit into a force then stole 2b (19/22).  Canessa singled scoring 2.  That was our first well hit ball.  WP moved Canessa to 3b.  Van Hoven was HBP and stole 2b.  Shaw doubled off the CF wall, scoring 2.  New pitcher for SB, Petrolia (6.81 ERA).  Mayer reached on a SS error.  Quense tripled home 2 more runs.  Aughinbaugh grounded out.  Rams up 8-0 after 2.

In the 3rd. Stocks in to pitch for Aughinbaugh for the Rams.  She hit the first batter, but got out of it, getting 1 K.
In our half, Skrepenak singled.  Figueroa grounded out.  Hughes doubled, scoring a run.  Canessa walked while Hughes moved to 3b.  New pitcher for SB, Hughes (1.94 ERA).  Canessa stole 2b.  Van Hoven doubled home 2 runs.  Shaw grounded out.  Mayer crushed a 2-run line drive HR.  Qunse K'd.  Rams up 13-0 after 3.

In the 4th, Ferri in to catch, Trivelpiece in to RF, Storm to 2b, Johnston to 3b, and Shaw to 1b.  Stocks gave up a leadoff double and SB's first hit, but she got out of it, getting 1 K.
In the bottom half, Stocks K'd looking.  Trivelpiece did the same as the ump is opening up the strike zone.  Chercio, in only her 2nd AB all year, K'd swinging.  Rams up 13-0 after 4.

Rundlett in to pitch for the Rams and Michael in to catch.  Rundlett has only pitched 1 inning all year.  She got a pop up, gave up a walk, threw a WP, hit a batter, got a line drive fly out, and a GB out to end it.

Rams win 13-0 via run rule in 5, and improve to 24-7.

We got 11 hits.  Mayer and Strepenak each had 2.  Canessa, Van Hoven, Shaw and Mayer (2-3-4-5 hitters) each had 2 RBIs.
We only gave up 1 hit, the double Stocks gave up.

The next game is Seton Hall scheduled for 4:30, giving the grounds crew some time to get the soft field back in shape.
