Volleyball started the year off well in New Orleans with a 3-1 win over SE Missouri State, a 3-2 win over host New Orleans (winning with 5th game 15-11 and 13 of the last 16 points), and a 3-0 sweep of Alcorn State.  I was hoping to get over to see them but Hurricane Harvey changed my plans.

Soph Olivia Fairchild had 18 kills and 6 aces vs SE Missouri State, 23 kills vs New Orleans while Freshman McKenna Lahr had 18 along with 16 digs, and Fairchild had 11 kills vs Alcorn State in a lopsided match.

Next up Manhattan on 8/30.

tx...I'm thrilled to see you posting!   It must mean you and your family are safe in Houston.

Prayers for all Rams in the Gulf Coast region..... and all of your neighbors.  The flooding is hard to fathom.

Most of the roads in and around Houston are flooded.  A river on our SW side is suppose to go over its banks tonight.  We're on a creek but it's well controlled and has a high levee.  Many places have exceeded the 500 year flood plan.  We can't go anywhere so posting gives me something to do.  Thanks for your prayers.
