We hadn't beaten them since 1990.

We outshot them 16-10, with 6 shots on goal to 2.  9 of St Johns 10 shots came in the 2nd half.  We had 8 corners to their 3.

St. John's was missing 4 starters.

Janos Loebe had out goal with about 20 minutes to go in the 2nd half on a defensive breakdown by St. Johns.  That was our first goal of the year.

I got tired of watching us get killed by Army and switched over to soccer.

The injury over-acting remains bad at all levels in this sport.

Here's the SID's summary, with video of the goal, along with their usual typo.  (what's with that?)

Thanks Tex for a little positive news before hitting the hay.  Love beating St. John's in any sport but, ya know, still woulda preferred the Army win Sad

1990 was a good year for Fordham soccer. I would know, I watched most of it from the bench.

Nice to beat St. John's

This is a terrific win and a bright spot for the weekend

St. John's has been a premier soccer program for over a decade and beating them on the road is a terrific win for the Rams

Congratulations to the team and coaches
