The OOC is officially over.  It has been dragged behind the shed and been shot many times over.  So its time to move on to the last leg of the season and hopefully will save us from vacating this board for the hoops board in early October (no offense to hoops).

So how to the RAMS finish out the season in PL play?
By the looks of things TODAY, every game is winnable

Lafayette 1-4, 1-0
Colgate, 2-3, 0-0
G'Town, 1-3, 0-0
Lehigh, 0-5, 0-0
Holy Cross, 2-3, 1-1
Bucknell 2-3, 0-1

HERE IS A LOOK AT THE RESULTS OF THE pl TEAMS THUS FAR

LAFAYETTE
Monmouth, L 12-31
Sacred Heart, L 24-38
Villanova, L 0-59
Princeton, L 17-38
Holy Cross, W 10-7

COLGATE
Cal Poly, W 20-14
Richmond, L 17-20
Buffalo, L 10-33
Furman, L 14-48
Cornell, W 21-7

Campbell,    W 16-10
Marist, L 12-14
Columbia, L 14-35
Harvard, L 2-41

LEHIGH
Villanova, L 35-38
Monmouth, L 27-46
Yale, L 28-56
Penn, L 47-65
Wagner, L 20-37

HOLY CROSS
Connecticut, L 20-27
Bucknell, W 20-0
New Hampshire, W 51-26
Dartmouth, L 26-27
Lafayette, L 7-10

BUCKNELL
Marist, W 45-6
Holy Cross   , L 0-20
William & Mary,    L 9-30
Sacred Heart, W 34-31
Monmouth, L 13-35

I would list our status going into these 6 PL games into these categories:
Underdog: Colgate, Holy Cross
Even: Lafayette, Bucknell, Lehigh
Favored: Georgetown

Although unlikely and as crazy as it sounds the Rams could go 6-0 or 0-6.  However, I expect we finish 2-4 or 3-3.  Sadly I will go with an optimistic 3-3.

I think Colgate wins the PL

Bring on the predictions...

Based on the first half, my order of finish is (and I hope I'm wrong):

Colgate
HC
Bucknell
Lafayette
Lehigh
Fordham
Gtown

There is close to no point in speaking about the rest of the season. Yes, they technically have a shot at the PL title. But so did the Mets in mid August but it was apparent that they too didn't have the leadership to get it done early on.

Can we re-focus on something more pleasant in this thread like PL expansion. Given how awful the league has seemingly become it's probably better to focus on adding names beyond the usual W&M, Nova, and Richmond.

Then start a PL Expansion thread.

Playing 3 straight road games with the turmoil that we have is not a good prescription for success.  I predict that we beat Georgetown, but with a 2-6 record going into the hardest part of our schedule with Lehigh, HC and Colgate at home I predict that we win 1 of those 3 and finish the PL at 2-4 and overall a 3-8 record.  A total disaster considering the promising outlook at the start of the season.
