If Fordham wins out (4-2) against the remainin PL games, and please without any sarcastic responses, is it still possible to win the league title?

Fordham must beat Lehigh and Colgate must lose to Bucknell for us to stay alive.

I doubt C.U. will stink in a couple of years. THey've got a great training facility, a great coach and staff and they have built solidly. Start with defense, O and D lines, solid linebackers, recruited a good Qb and two talented skill players. ANyway as mentioned before ,when Fordham was recently flying before this year's debacle, it made no sense as a matchup. LIke Rams playing Eastern Washington every year.

Rams lead 14-7 with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. Announcers said that Anderson has missed the last 2 games because of injury. Austin King is warming up on the sidelines, may enter the game later at quarterback.

With Bucknell down 26-3, and Lafayette and Georgetown as Colgate's remaining games, it appears the Rams are no longer in control of their destiny here, barring a shocker.

This Fordham team can't tackle. Plain and simple.

14 all, almost at the half.

Damn. 13 yard pass to Dominick Bragalone for a Lehigh TD. Extra point good. 14-14 at the half. Bragalone is having a great game so far.

The defense's idea of tackling is to bump the guy instead of grabbing him.

Prayers and well wishes for the Lehigh player injured on that onside kick. Can hear a pin drop here at Coffey. Strapping him on a board. Extremely scary stuff.

Live from the game, hell of a fantasy game for DP #24.

297 yards with 3 scores, thatís a line

#26 Glenn Cunningham also had a great game with 3 sacks and forced fumble, lots of tackles and nailing the onside kick where unfortunately, the Lehigh player was injured.

We've found a real good linebacker.

Just got back from the game. Was there any update on the injured Lehigh player? Perhaps by the FUV broadcasters?

This is a bad league.  Painful. We can win out.  AB isn't dead yet.

From LU Football tweet:
Sr. TE Drew Paulsen is being evaluated for head/neck injuries. He was taken from field in ambulance and to a local hospital for evaluation.

Speedy recovery Drew!

Congratulations to the players and coaches on today's win. This was just the third time I've seen our guys in the flesh and didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. No sign of quit in the team and a lot of kids made plays, both big and small, that contributed to the victory. If this is a team in turmoil with dissension in the ranks they certainly didn't play like that today. Bragalone was IMO the best player on the field but we didn't let him beat us. ( though he almost did!  It's like trying to tackle a runaway fire hydrant 😄). But after him, the other standouts were all wearing Maroon.  Palladino's performance effectively neutralized Bragalone and I thought Seawright, Anderson and Cunningham were far more impactful than any other LU players

Great team win, effort all over the place and perhaps a game the guys can build on for the rest of this year and into next. Time will tell. But at least for one game they made us proud to be RamFans

The one that had coach Andy Coen and the team most concerned was seeing tight end Drew Paulsen taken off the field in an ambulance after suffering a serious injury in the head/neck area. He was taken to nearby New York Presbyterian Hospital for evaluation and the team wasnít sure of his status at gameís end.

From the Morning Call paper.

Fucop, They walked away from the Liberty Cup and now you never want to play them again? Get real, it's a very worthwhile rivalry for us. I'd rather play Columbia every year than a program like Bryant where we have close to no likelihood of developing a real rivalry.

hooray!    a solid win the players, coaches and fans can be proud of!   I realize it was windy, but Coach B decision to go for it  4 and 8 from the ~15 and then on a different set of downs try a FG  4th and goal from the one (that we missed) -- should have been the other way around. We were pushing them off the ball yesterday and if don't make it they start deep in own territory (on their own one).
Regardless we played hard, as mentioned Cunningham was a beast.   if we win the next 2,  AB will allude to many injuries this year and that we finished with 4 straight W's.  He may be able to hang on to his job.  I think we're still mathematically alive for the PL title.  Im FC maybe you Gabelli guys can help..  Wink   Unlikely, perhaps even a 3 way tie 4-2.  Fordham Colgate Lehigh

We've found a real good linebacker.

Looking at the Box Score, Cunningham actually had 4 sacks and 11 solo tackles, besides a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.  Also looking back at prior box scores, I notice that he is near the top in tackles almost every game.  He did not play at Georgetown.  And he is only a freshman.

I thought the whole defense did play better this game, except in many cases a lot of players still don't know how to tackle effectively which led to some really big plays by Lehigh.

and a shout out  RB Palladino.   He comes into camp as the 3rd RB on depth chart. Freshman RB Davis flashes in camp and Palladino gets bumped to 4th string.  He didn't whine, quit or transfer (realize mid season would be rare).  However, when opportunity finally knocks (gets his opportunity to start)  -- he kicks down the door and breaks out with a ~ 300yard performance.  good for him!
