Sagarin has the host Rams as 3 1/2 dogs against Holy Cross. Jeff made a mistake. We should be favored.

Ranking.                        Rating
  203.  Holy Cross  (3-6)  37.41
  220.  Fordham   (3-6)    33.87

Are we still eligible for the PL title and a playoff spot? Can anyone do the math with all the remaining games and possibilities? We should finish 4-2 as will a few other teams.

It looks like If we win out and Colgate loses 2, we'd finish ahead of them. Lafayette would have to win 3 and they'd finish ahead of us.

Any word on Chase and his playing Saturday against Holy Cross? He needs only eight yards to break the league all-time rushing record. Best to you Chase.

Chase listed as starter, Lumley and Longi too. Like our chances big crowd, I realize the Two Deep isn't always accurate. But I'm hoping Chase gets the record in front of the Homecoming Crowd, he deserves it for all his hard work. Nice to see Thorpe playing like his old self and Cunningham well he's just Cunningham. Go Rams!

Had a decent first few minutes aided by some hc penalties, but a blind side sack led to a funnel and a TD for hc. Down 7-0 early.

Our o line is very disappointing. Very skilled otherwise on O in my opinion, but can’t get things going with that line.

Nice turn of events. Our D causes a fumble on the 1 yard line and get the turnover.

Chase Edmonds with the career PL rushing record with a run to about the 5.  Now let’s get a TD.

End of 1st Q. Down 7.

Breiner with a very questionable acceptance of a penalty after Hc ran into the punter iba 4th and 9 that put Hc on their 25. Re punt on 4th and 4 and poor punt puts it on the 33. I get trusting your team, but too many things can happen there to not make it worth it.

28-14 HC now. We go from an almost safety to a 99 yard drive for a TD.

Not saying it is good or ok, but that technique in tacking is way too common nowadays. It’s poor in a lot more ways than just tackling.

Down 42-14. Losing Anderson really hurt. King looked ok, but not great. Medlock about the same.

That was the HC team most Crusader supporters expected to see this year. Why Gilmore went away from Pujals running the ball is one of the many reasons he's no longah patrolling the side-line.

We were obviously aided by your injured QBs and others.... but this is a pretty good HC team on paper....it just failed to live up to expectations due to coaching/team turmoil drama....see you guys next year in Wisstah.

Was target practice on Anderson today, know Pujhols is excellent, but we displayed lack of discipline-dumb penalties.
Same story, undersized, ineffective D, to be charitable. Inability to put pressure on QBs.
Can't stop anyone. Will require major overhaul. Got to be all uphill.

Congrats to Chase on an amazing run, sad to see the injuries stop him from attaining some goals, but he was in there blocking and throwing
his body around today. A true warrior. Has been a great experience to watch him throughout the years. Hope he finishes in style next week.

Sorry i missed the action over the past week or so. My US mobile phone was destroyed in a rainstorm and I was offline. How has the team been doing?

Madram, I see you started a thread about me. Is there something that I can help you with. Would you like me to send you a box of tissues?

Thought the guys played hard and dealt with that horrible opening series we’ll to battle back.  That said, by the start of the 4th it looked like we gave up to my eyes.

I thought the new QB looked good overall.  What’s the story on why Medlock was brought back in?  I couldn’t figure out the shuffling in series between 14, 8 and 7.  I’m sure with Anderson it was just if he felt like he could play on a series or not.  Kid got crushed and is tough as nails.  Why not just ride the future of the program when he came out then?  Did he get hurt too?

D is beyond atrocious.  Adeyeye played his heart out.  Cunningham is a player.  Thorpe with an awful penalty when the comeback was still possible.  DB’s are so bad it defies description - both covering or tackling.  The joke whenever HC had 3rd and anything more than 9 was that they had us right where they wanted us.

Congrats to Chase on breaking the record and also for giving us flashes of the old Chase.  Longi also a helluva player

And did the dog ladyboy eat your homework?

No need to disappear, there was no way AB was turning this thing around. He is done. How old is the Columbia coach?  Can we double his pay?  BTW, didn't Bagnoli go from D3 to Penn?  Is Union D3? You can argue all you want about the mythical "commitment" from the admin.  Clawson, Moorhead, even Masella have proven, its the coach. If the Columbia situation doesn't prove that, nothing will. Put in some work, vet candidates and get the "right" guy for our unique job. No mailing it in.

Bagnoli was very successful at Union and had a dynasty at Penn.

Rumor is that Columbia paid him $1 mil plus an apartment to get un-retired.  Columbia also made huge upgrades in facilities.  The varsity athletic center is as good as anything on that level and is already getting upgrades.  Maybe Columbia ha s finally seen the light.   In this case, the turnaround doesn't work without the great coach and facilities.

You dont just hand the keys to a 31 y/.o assistant.  Bagnoli got $1M and an apartment? Have not read or seen that anywhere. There were quite a few detailed articles on the hire.  That's a pretty massive rumor to toss out there without any back-up. Anything to support that?

Football alums who know.

Not a lot of money at Columbia, especally for one of the great coaches in Ivy history.  The guy was retired. Columbia call him. He told them make "make me an offer".   I don't know the details obviously about how much is up front, deferred, etc.

It makes sense.  They spent millions on facilities and couldn't get it turned around. It was a brilliant move bringing him in.

I feel the Ram pain as my other guys are truly struggeling, as well.  Only thing left is to beat Delaware, a serious challenge.  Think the NOVA/F issues are entirely different.  If, as so many on this site claim, F's problem is the HC, then a return to prominance is some years off.  Just love your team.

I had my back up as I read your post and then re-read my own and it was definitely much overly positive than intended so I actually agree with your comment/questioning of mine.  The whole thing was a disaster.  Was trying to relate that in the middle of that fiasco I saw Chase give us some vintage Chase runs, break the PL record and I think Longi is great.  Otherwise, very pathetic.
