With Hicks and Evans in the game, why does Chartouny get the ball in order to pass it? Some bad turnovers already.

Back to freeze city, meaning back to radio!

LIU is creeping back. Lets get that double figure breathing space back.

Our big guy is great tonight!

Nice half. Now we just need to get JC going. HE is a pressing a bit.

I'll take 42 at the half but I was hoping for more post moves Grin

Chartouny biggest disappointment so far. Even more disappointing than the crappy feed.

As I mentioned after the last game, don;t expect to see 12% again in the next couple of years.

He started okay and then totally disappeared. The bigs have taken this one over, so JC's (2nd) bad game is shielded somewhat. PS is everywhere tonight. And Raut? Pullin that trigger!

We've gone cold - good thing we're playing strong D to even it out somewhat.

Happy for the win, and obviously for the Slanina/Raut combo performance (although how did Slanina end up fouling out after only having a single PF into the second half?) Will be interested to see how these two fare against the 'Noles...go Rams!

Only -4 on the glass tonight; actually lost the turnover battle 13-8 (tidy game by both squads there).
Great shooting night by the Rams - not to be denied this evening!

JN did a great job changing up the D. Holding LIU under 70 is impressive.

So what's different tonight?  Almost no Ohams, very little Havsa.  Lots of Slanina.  Less Tavares.  More rebounding.  But still less pressure defense than in the past.  And actually I think LIU/Brooklyn might be better than Miami.  Also Pekarek made an appearance and did not impress.  And Raut was great.  We'll see.

Good win for the team to get back on track. The most interesting thing to me was the change in defense. We went much more conservative and only forced 13 TO's. We actually had the same amount of shots as LIU which is not something you typically see from a JN team. It will be interesting to see if that holds or if that was a specific way to keep LIU out of the lane.

Obviously Raut is the story. FSU will be all over him so other guys will need to step up. JC played better in the 2nd half and we will need him sharp on Friday.  The best thing now is that we have depth and can ride the hot hand. Chuba has struggled but we now have options. Same with Havsa. I think we will see different guys step up each night which is kind of nice.

I noticed in the Miami game that Raut hit a couple of open shots in the first half and then Miami put a player on him for most of the game and was a non-factor the rest of the game. Not sure if LIU D was more lax or FU moved the ball better to create openings for Raut.

The good news with the feed being so bad is that perhaps FSU won’t have good tape on Raut.  Tongue

Not rocket science, but the score fell right where we discussed.
