Davis isn't playing.  I missed the report as to what happened although the announcers said personal reasons.  She was on the bench in sweats and her mom was behind the bench.  Hopefully she will be back for the next game.

Pitt up 41-40 after 3.

Cavanaugh with 14 points.

Klug and Goulding both have 4 fouls.

Rams up 52-49 with 1:30 to go.

Goulding and Cavanaugh are having career games.

Rams win 58-55 without Davis, our best player.  Based on the RPI's, I'd say we'd be even-to-slightly favored at full strength, but with no Davis, this was an upset.  Coach said it was one of her most satisfying wins.

We held them to more than 10 points under their average.

Cavanaugh had 21 points.  Goulding had 17 and 11 boards.  Holden played every minute and had 10 points.

We shot 46%, 31% from 3, 73% from the line.

Without Davis we still out rebounded them 36-35.

We had 20 TOs though vs 8 assists.

We're 4-2.  Pitt is 5-3.  We next play at Penn State on Wed., a team we lost to in the NIT last year.  Their RPI is #81 and ours is #154.

Great way to come through w/o GD. Thanks for the recap. I was out and about and couldn't watch it.

Nice win. Looks like Bre and Mary had solid games - Bre with the highest scoring and Mary with the double-double.

Keep it up - we need more of that. GO RAMS!

LOL. I thought about making a similar comment, but refrained.

Stats as of Dec.2- "G" was the NCAA D1 leading rebounder 14.6 RPG. When I saw she wasn't playing, I thought where is that production going to come from? Everyone stepped up. Team was 4th in scoring defense 48.2 OPP PPG. IMHO they are only going to improve as they get their feet wet. They are young and teeming with enthusiasm, fun to watch.
