I wonder if he will get a scholarship in a few years and also wonder how the Richmond board will react to it.   Evil

How will this board react to it?  Will there be an uprising about the one that got away?   Evil

How about starting a thread recapping the Tip-Off Dinner?

Recap of Dinner: Fresh green salad with shredded apples and buttermilk dressing; choice of grilled red snapper or filet mignon; raspberry sorbet with strawberries and blueberries.

I can pretty much assure you that Cately son is getting his at least tuition taken care of for free as being an employee of Fordham. He would get his tuition for free at Fordham however there is an exchange program within the network of universities that will allow students to go to a different school assuming they get in and there is open spots in the exchange.   Therefore I'm fairly certain that he's going to you university of Richmond for free

Clever. Maybe you should go back to talking about the walk-on who got away.

I have never heard of us having a reciprocal program with anyone other than the other Jesuit schools.

There is a tuition exchange program that Fordham does participate in.  It is basically made up of private colleges and universities:

Very cool. I stand corrected.

I saw Claus on here the other day. Maybe we can re-recruit Eric Paschall to come back for a 5th year next year. Wouldn't that be something.

Nobody cares about Fordham Prep Boomer..

The conversation went off topic with Gaitley's son and continued from there.  I added the response about Richmond because that exchange program is what Gaitley may be taking advantage of.  This topic often goes off into the weeds.  I am at fault too. I reply many times to a post without taking into consideration what the thread topic is.

I really do not care at about Gaitley's kid other than wishing him the best.

Yes, several schools Jesuit participate in a reciprocal program.  I could not tell you which schools participate.

I can tell you that it is usually based on availability and obviously acceptance into the desired school.

I know growing up that Villanova was very soft on employees getting free rides for their children.
Ex. a janitor or , basic admin could get free tuition for their kids as long as they worked at the university for so many years.
It was a very attainable number of years.  Pretty sweet perk if you ask me, especially considering the cost of tuition fees.  A friend of mine that works at Nova told me about the reciprocal program.

Fordham Prep, interestingly, has not been a significant feeder of talent to the Rams for many decades.

Oh, come on, John!  What about THE McLaughlin Family?   Grin

6' 8" F Donatas Kupsas from Long Island Lutheran HS, Class of 2018, will not sign early and will take official visits to Weber State and Hofstra this month. Fordham has offered him.
