Per Pat Lawless on Twitter:

'17 Charles Falden & JUCO PF Jeromy Rodriguez will both go on official visits to St. Bonaventure this weekend, per a source.

I know people have brought Rodriguez's name up on thir board.

I think verbal commits is far more reliable than 247. Myles Johnson has several offers, including Fordham.

Second that request, It's informative to find out which of our players are transferring or signing up for the draft, and other schools getting commitments from good players, but it would be gratifying that just once this year we hear of a player committing to Fordham, who can help us next season.

Nathan,

i plugged VC last week (page 529) - feel free to venmo me the advertising fees  Wink

Here is an actual question: Given your upstate NY roots and proximity to high-major/mid-major ball, what is your general perception of Fordham Basketball? Strengths/Weaknesses? + General recruiting demo. Any specific recruiting insight you may provide?

Continue the good work, you're on pace for a merger soon.

I'm sure the nice 11,000 seat arena had zip to do with this.

Maybe Coach didn't tell Santos about that 1971 season.

Coach hadn't been born at the start of that 1971 season.

Possible explanation for Fordham and Men's Basketball Recruiting:

"Shunning" can be the act of social rejection, or emotional distance. In a religious context, shunning is a formal decision by a denomination or a congregation to cease interaction with an individual or a group, and follows a particular set of rules. It differs from, but may be associated with, excommunication.
Social rejection occurs when a person or group deliberately avoids association with, and habitually keeps away from an individual or group.

I am ok with one sit out transfer for next year but I wouldn't have wanted 2. The other 3 ships need to be used on people who can help next year (grad transfer, juco, international with experience or a Frosh who is promising and can help some next year.

Thanks for the news, Joe. Good find. He appears to be a graduate, immediately eligible.

I guess any news is better than none. But, honestly, I do not think this is the kind of player to help make a difference for us next season. Averaged about 7 ppg for the Patriot school, starting 10 of their 32 games. Hopefully, he would provide some bench support for us.

Edit: Just looked at the video and he looks better than I figured with some very nice drives to the basket.

I like it because he is eligible immediately but has two years to play. I like his offensive game from what I can see he is versatile offensively driving and catch/shoot, with good percentages. Had higher offers coming out from NC St and UVA so I'm not complaining.

I like it much more if he has two years to play. I missed that.

He was out the entire 15-16 season with a torn acl.   This article indicates he wanted the ball and to shoot more.  Reading between the lines he and reed did not see eye to eye on his roll.   Good mind set if he has the game to play at this level would be a nice pick up 6-5.

You are better than this. Same goes for Richie68.  You are too smart to fall into this garbage narrative of every player that  signs elsewhere is disappointing news.  It's not it's called reality: guys sign elsewhere it happens.

I am disappointed in the weather as it sucks to play golf in. Now that is disappointing.

Its good drinking weather.

Alston looks pretty decent, who else is recruiting him?

Also noted Trey Dickerson on that list. Didnt we previously recruit him?

Recruiting is now like Ebay.

Don't know, but I like his first step. Looks like a WR.

You're right. I should have put a  Wink at the end.  As to the weather, April is in many ways the cruelest month. Both for golf and I expect for the Rams recruiting, May should be much more pleasant.
