OK Scott, now I'm going to go full Steve McGarrett on you, because I remember seeing Jorma Kaukonen at the Rose Hill Gym. It was supposed to be a Airplane concert, but certain players (Grace Slick?) didn't show up and they played as Hot Tuna. A Sunday afternoon (no wonder Grace didn't show) and they came on about 2 hours late.

It was both acoustic and electric as I recall.  If I can recall.  Which I can. Kinda.

Hopefully this can get the thread back to recruiting . . .

History has repeated itself bros - a couple of weekends ago Jefferson Starship (or whatever they are now - does it matter?) played in a small town high school auditorium in NW PA. Tickets were 45 (as in 45 dollars, not 45 dimes like when they played at Fordham way back when), and sales were so bad they ended up giving tickets away to basically anyone who wanted them (the few who had previously coughed up $45 were not happy). A lousy time was had by all and the local arts organization sponsoring the event lost many, many thousands of dollars.

What do we post when the semester starts and he is not on the roster?

No John, no.

That's the HVAC system installed when McShane was still in high school.  It has an occasional puff-back.

We'll need a different sign about Papa.

I do not think anything is final yet, but it does not look like Papa will be enrolling at Fordham this coming semester. What happens beyond that, I am even less informed on.

The "not enrolling" aspect is very disappointing.  It would be good if he can come in for the 2nd semester and is nota total loss. Meanwhile, we have a full roster of 11 promising players, a much better situation to look forward to than we've had in years.

HICKS UPDATE

Hicks video below, from his twitter feed

http://www.hudl.com/video/3/4770169/5771c315ed57ef3ed8822121

He loves to pull after crossing the ball back to his left handle. The turn-away following the shot isn't going to go over well in the A10. Good range. Prefers the left wing, clearly. Everything is power jab, cross, separation to get the ball into his left hand.

From the video, he's accustomed to playing in front of 237 people. He'll fit right in.

Any other team wins the World Series, good for them. They're drinking champagne, they get a ring. But if we win, on our budget, with this team... we'll have changed the game. And that's what I want. I want it to mean something. - Moneyball
