Just a reminder that the tracking thread is not the recruiting thread.

Rely on the objective data (ppg, rpg, awards eg. third team all state) and not the subjective editorial commentary.

With that said.....

Chris Austin had 41 points (five 3 pointers), 15 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, 2 blocks in his season opener last evening as his Maranatha team won easily.

That's stuffing the stat sheet? What was his 3%? He hit a pretty low clip last year.

Ha, sorry.  There wasn't supposed to be a question mark after stuffing the stat sheet on my post.  Obviously a great game, and I wasn't trying to be snide.  I was just wondering about the 3 point shooting since he was under 30% last year.  13-51 for 25%.  I have found a piece about the game from Pasadena Sports Now but no box and don't know how many 3s he took, but seems like he has really upped his game.

Hopefully we have found a gem.  Up to 6'5".  Maybe he can step in on the wing for Tavares, and those seem like they will be big shoes to fill.

Looks like we have Pasadena covered.  Perris Hicks also went to high school there.

No problem. I enjoy reading your detailed analyses.

It is also nice to have some action in this thread again.

Don't know what his shooting % was but that is certainly a well balanced stat line. The local paper seemed to think it was an outstanding performance.

The only additional detail I can find is that he shot 10-14 in the second half.

Fordham signee, Nick Honor (Lake Highland Prep) just rises to the level to perform well against anyone every time!

Averaging 23 ppg and his team is 4-0.

Nick Honor continues to play at a consistently high level, averaging about 23 ppg and his team is 6-1. No guarantees, but I have a feeling he will be a very nice player for us.
