Please Use Descriptive Thread Titles
Please show some courtesy to your fellow fans and use descriptive thread titles in this sub-forum and in all other areas of this forum so everyone knows exactly what's being discussed in a particular thread.

A thread titled "This is awesome" or even "Tom Pecora", for example, could be about anything - please specify exactly what you want to discuss in the thread you're starting such as "Tom Pecora Interviewed on WFUV". Not everyone has a lot of time on the forum to go in and out of every single thread so it's helpful if users know up-front what a particular thread is going to be about. It also saves us on the moderation team from having to edit thread titles which is not very easy to do on this forum.

Thank you.

There have been recent examples of this so I borrowed most of the above text from another forum I was on.  If you can figure out which forum, you get a prize.

Ace - It would also be nice if people would stop hijacking threads and open a new one. I keep going to the Ken Charles thread, hoping to find an interesting experience someone had with or knows about him. I find the latest posts have nothing to do with him or anything I'm interested in.

Which one is the Ken Charles thread?  Or do you mean the one titled "oh what a night"?

That's the one. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything pertaining to Kenny Charles in a couple of days.

Perhaps if the person who posted it had used a descriptive thread title that mentioned what the thread was truly about then people would have stayed on topic.  (kidding)  I know that had nothing to do with it, but that is the type of thread title I am talking about.  Users have no idea what the thread is about other than some night that fordhamanhattan found interesting enough to tell us about.  Funny coincidence that's the thread you were referring to.

Or what about the thread "Fordham joining Big East". Talk about a literally inaccurate and misleading headline. I know Ace closed it but I thought it should have been deleted altogether.
