Destination unclear, huh ? Gee, guys, ... how about Canisius ? Duh !!!

Big break for URI in that Billy Baron will transfer to Canisius to play for his Dad Jim. Great kid but Dan Hurley can recruit better guards!

That may be, but it's still one man's opinion and, since that man was a former URI coach, perhaps not an unbiased opinion. We'll see.

That may be J, but BB is a great three point shooter.

So the kid is moving on to his third college, I just hope he finishes there as a fourth school would be a little much

I dont agree with him, I think its some biased jive because TP is still a bmoc at URI and baron got canned. btw Did tommie jr play D1 ball? I just quoted his tweet. why would the kid stay any way after they fired his dad? billy baron got us for 22 pts avg 13 for the year with 4.5 rebounds. we could sure use him

Well it was meant in rhetorical jest and an opportunity to smash the bad rams.....but yes, UVa is a better school than Canisius. On the other hand, a Jesuit education is special in its own right regardless of ranking.

Our ever vigilant moderator may have missed the winky face that you added at the end of your post, otherwise, why the unwarranted response ?

Wrong thread. Now you are being obtuse. But since you brought it up, that is a very old tape, and showing the west visitors stands where the Wake Band now sits in the lower left corner, and I believe its long before they substantially upgraded BB+T Field (50 million renovation raised in three years by private funds from alumni). They get chided in the ACC all the time for their fight song and hand clapping...polite company....Wake is very preppy. Its not blue collar union thugs or fishing pier drunks....unless they come from Long Island....oh sorry....just kidding. Last several games I attended were sellouts, over 35,000 (including grassy knoll in end zone.) Notre Dame, Baylor, Stanford, Nebraska. Who did Fordham play again in that same time frame? Assumption? Bryant? Rhode Island? Really? (lets not discuss the Army and UConn games.) But you are welcome anytime down this way 85. Southern hospitality will amaze you. But leave your fishing gear at home. http://football.ballparks.com/NCAA/ACC/WakeForest/index.htm

I am not certain but I believe that, unless he is granted a waiver, he will need to sit a year but would not lose eligibility.

If I may translate from coach speak to normal speak:
" I would have to have needed a lobotomy not to leave the Isle of Staten for the Isle of Rhode because they quadrupled my salary, bought me a house and gave me a long term contract "

If our guys play against top competition, the only thing that will occur is that they will lose more games.
I may be wrong, and you can call me a Debbie Downer, but we are just not ready for this.
Simple math. You want to get better, be relevant, you win. Schedule irrelevant.
