Once again, I summon the great minds on this board for dining advice. I appreciated two months ago when many of you gave me recommendations for the theater district scene.

I will be meeting a date on Saturday in the financial district. Can anyone recommend some possible venues? I want to avoid the ultra-expensive places of course!

Steve, I can heartily recommend Trinity Place Restaurant on Trinity Place, just one-half block down from Broadway. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. Check out their menu here:

And by the way, it's Restaurant Week in New York through August 14th. Special prices at select restaurants throughout the five boroughs.
